No UK beatboxers can touch Beardy as he lands the award for the second-year running. Boo-chika-Boom!
Brighton-based Beardyman has seen off the competition to retain his UK Number 1 crown at the Vauxhall UK Beatbox Championships. Along with the kudos, he also picked up a brand-new Vauxhall Corsa SXi for his efforts.
Judges at the contest, held on the weekend at Islington Academy, included beatbox luminaries Schlomo & Scratch of the Roots.
Schlomo was quick to praise Beardy, stating, “We were looking for routines that were as fresh as possible - we like innovation, creativity and imagination and once again Beardyman came up trumps.”
