We're not twisting you melon: the godfathers of baggy return with a new album, tour, and guitar-driven sound.
Strewth! It’s been 15 years since the Happy Mondays released their last album, the universally-derided ‘Yes Please’ (the one where they sold the studio equipment in Barbados to pay for crack while recording), but they’re back this Summer with a new album, ‘Uncle Dysfunktional’.
Shaun, Bez and Gaz make up the contingent from the original line up, while new members Kav Sandhu, Johnny Dunn and Mikey Shine are on board for the Mondays 2007. They've a more guitar-driven sound than the Oakenfold-produced Mondays of old, but retain their trademark lolloping groove.
