The Disco Brothers are one of the most exciting house double acts
to break into the UK house scene in most recent years. Their unquestionable
talent and ear for music comes accross in their energetic sets which
would light up any dance floor.
Musically adaptable they play to a crowd straight across the board
from House to Hard House to Hard Trance whipping any crowd into
a frenzy. The Disco Brothers have been Dj-ing together for 7 years
and have their roots firmly based in the underground scene. They
started by putting on free outdoor parties in the Kent area going
under the name of Aubergine, although it was'nt long until they
brought their successful event to Bristol and launched Aubergine
at Club Loco.
Through Aubergine they have spread their wings and headed for national
stardom. And by the looks of things they could'nt have made a better
decision.
Their biggest break to date is their new SUNDISSENTIAL residency
for which they play all major UK dates and tours. And regular guest
spots at some of the UK leading house clubs.
On the production side of things The Disco Brothers are something
of hot property already, producing their own unique style which
is getting the attention of many major labels. A remix of Ace of
Space's '9 is a classic' is out on Tripoli Trax, a remix of Nick
Rafferty's 'can you dig it?' is released on the Sundissential Label,
and their own track 'lets go' is soon to be hitting the shelves
through DP recordings.
Their first album compilation is also set for release where alongside
BK they have mixed Nukleuz in Ibiza 2001 and it is set to rock the
charts. So all in all The Disco Brothers are the hottest thing to
hit clubland since they invented the turntable.
The Disco Brothers became a one-man project in 2006 as a result of Mark Wilson's death on October 26th at the age of 29.
